What can cause accuracy to fall apart at 700 yards?

Load data ? Chrono data ? Next range trip, stake out some wind flags / surveyor's marking tape near the 600 and 700 yard lines to see if there is a weird wind happening in the longer ranges.

6ARC, 22ARC, or .223 for my use case?

This, plus 75-77 grain ammo. A good optic will find a rifle.

Anything ? If I'm going to get into another chambering, I'd like to do it with a quality barrel. I have a few CLE barrels and I'm a believer in their work.

Bad Hornady ammo 300PRC, 1/2 MOA to 6 MOA based on lot number.

Keep in mind that Federal Ammo and Alliant Powder are both part of Vista Outdoor. Federal gets Powder before Alliant gets it so sell to handloaders. There's a reason that none of us have seen an 8 Lbs. jug of RL 26 in a very long time, Federal is consuming all of it.

Bad Hornady ammo 300PRC, 1/2 MOA to 6 MOA based on lot number.

ETA: I'm not crapping on Hornady, it's a sign of the times and as much as we handloaders bitch about component availability, it's going all the way up the food chain.

Bad Hornady ammo 300PRC, 1/2 MOA to 6 MOA based on lot number.

Apparently Hornady is having a tough time with component shortages / availability since the first of the year. I was listening to the "Big Game Hunting Podcast" and Hornady's current production 7mm PRC 175 ammo has had issues with being 100-200 FPS below Advertised Velocity on the ammo box...

Any updates as to when Paul will be back to spinning barrels ? I'm going to be looking for a .22 ARC barrel for an AR with a step to locate the collar for an AEM 5 Suppressor before too long.

    Your PVA prefit experience

Much better photo. The CCI "B" stamp isn't smashed flat, and the corners of the primers aren't anvil-ed flat, so I wasn't thinking a gross overpressure situation. I was looking at the two primers that were in focus ( Yellow Circles ) and the shading in the photo made me think excessive firing...
