Re: Where to find cheap XM193 pills ?
The last bulk "XM193" 55's I bought was from Natchez....advertised as new XM193, and were on sale.
But that was a couple of years ago........

Re: Load Development: Where and How to Start?
Load manuals are chock full of caliber appropriate powders and components already tested, tried, and true....a smart man goes there and finds a place to begin. Experimentation is most of the fun with reloading....unless of course you blindly seek...
Re: To lube or not when seating bullets
Or, you could try This vs. That, and see if it makes a difference?
Why can't people think of that on their own.
Just try it if the question burns at you enough to ask it here....technically, moly bullets are lubed as they sit in the case neck, and...
Re: Remember the Great .30-06 Debate 10 Years Ago?
I picked the 190 SMK and 30-06, and then built this rifle around it last summer.
14.5 pounds, 25" Krieger twisted 1:9.5, Win brass, H4350, CCI mag primers, 2750 fps.....yes, it does very VERY well.
Re: what 30-06 projectiles do you use
The 168 TSX is a fucking hammer, as is the 208 Amax....
This past season I took four shots and made four clean kills with the 190 SMK:
15 yards, point of the shoulder, slam dunk, like a Mack truck hit him.
289 yards, white throat patch, nearly severed...

Re: OCW from a new and unfired barrel(500yd update)
A group from last summer, 190 SMK's out of a 1:9.5 twisted 25" Krieger, posted several times already for argumental OCW purposes.
500 yards really isn't that far if you spend a lot of time there.
And, 1/4 MOA at 500 yards isn't that...

Re: OCW vs Ladder...
Every time I see this question come up it makes me shake my head in utter amazement.....
What's keeping you from doing both, and comparing the results with an analytical mind to find out for yourself?
Other than available range distance......
I've stuck with OCW for...

Dan and I have had this discussion, over lunch, and he agrees with me that smaller increments more clearly define the edges of the nodes...but he had to put something down in writing as a guideline that would cover most applications. And if I'm...
Re: .308 OCW test 178amax over varget analysis help
I fully expected someone to disagree with me about compressed loads.....this is, afterall, the internet.
Do note that I was asked my opinion, and I gave it, and I gave my personal justification for my opinion....which included the...
