    need help designing a case

Re: need help designing a case The 30-338 LM Imp is a great round and i have one for a hunting rifle. Its works great. The 300 HULK is actually a shorter version then the one i use. Mine will easily break the 3000 FPS and with the right setup you could do 3200-3300 no problem. If you want to...

    Intel Gathering

Re: Intel Gathering Desert, The 408 CT takes over in ft/lbs after about 700 yards compared to the bmg. The 375 does at around 900 yards. Just something to think about. If anything needs to happen to make a HTI weapon more useful for both i believe its in the bullets and barrel material. Its...

    6x47 and 115's

Re: 6x47 and 115's Vinny i shoot the 115's for the first 6 matches of this last season. While they never shoot terrible i had a tough time getting them smaller then 6" at 1k. Of course your gun may be a little different. My take on them is they are a great bullet for tactical shooting but...

Gunsmithing Well... I finally made my first cut

Re: Well... I finally made my first cut Most barrels will have more runout going down the barrel then you can adjust out of the muzzle. If you are spending the time to get the muzzle dead nuts then you are wasting time. It only needs to be within a thou or two and the pilot will do the rest...

Gunsmithing Well... I finally made my first cut

Re: Well... I finally made my first cut Using that insert will make sure you are within about .002 almost all the time at the muzzle. It would be decrease as you went down the barrel toward the 4 jaw or spider.

Gunsmithing Well... I finally made my first cut

Re: Well... I finally made my first cut Unless you dont have much length on the bed there isnt really any other then being a pain. One thing you could do is make a adapter that goes into the spindle and make inserts for it for different muzzle sizes.
