    Re: Cronograph accuracy question The accuracy your looking for with chrono's is the shot by shot. The MV is not really important for load development until you do a drop chart on it. Even then its easy to just adjust it until your chart matches up with your real world data.

    Re: What causes keyholing? Barrel length is not going to affect stability. Yes its going slower but a 10 twist will work with close to a 200 grain bullets even shooting them sub sometimes. I just cant see that being the problem. I could be wrong though....

    Re: Melonite extending barrel life? It seems there is a few companys out thier that are not doing this correctly. The barrels we have got done are shotting great and showing on average of 100+ fps gain and sometimes as much as 175. It looks like the process must get in deep enough or it wont...

    Re: Machine oil Yea mobil oils work just fine. There is the met-alpha for normal cutting needs and the vactra way oil for taking care of the machines. Look at fastenal, MSC, or McMastercarr will all take care of what ya need.
