    Re: Grand River Tactical shooting mat/rifle case IMHO, four smaller buckles that attach to the case's lip would look better and close it up better; with only three buckles the ends are floppy. As it looks now, the outside straps "wrap & squish" the case instead of snugging & cinching it...

    Re: what is the ultimate long range cartridge How are you defining ultimate? Accuracy alone? other factors include cost to shoot, component availability, barrel life, recoil, load flexability, load sensitivity, and probably some others. The .260 rem is a nice balance. .308 is time tested...
