    I still carry a pump pillow along with my shmedium+1, can't remember the last time I actually used it though. It does make a good sitting cushion when you have to wait a while between stages. It's so light that it's hard for me to not take it for "just in case".

    Local hunter match, tripod or not?

    Me and a buddy just shot a NRL hunter match and we used a tripod on probably 12 of the 16 stages. If you have one I'd definitely take it.

    The only reason is because I wanted to get away from the 4 section style and try the QDT. Purely for the hell of it. I didn't think about putting spikes on the shorter tripod, but needing 5 inches more height seems like some really long spikes to add.
