    To be honest I'm not real sure. With 130 AR hybrids the base to ogive measurement was 2.261. The only spec they ever gave me over the phone was when I called about the Dasher reamer they use. I believe everything else from them is SAAMI spec.

    I put a decent timney trigger on my bone stock B14r and it shoots lights out. Not as good as my full built RimX but plenty good for most stuff. It'll shoot 3/4 moa all day with bulk winchester ammo. I also had a cz455 in a Manners that shot exceptionally well. Lots of good options at the 1k-ish...

    I've bought 2 Gitzos over the last several years and they are legit and in your price range. Just by a Series 3 and it'll have the removable plate to run an anvil 30 or a RRS leveling head. I did a lot of research on photography forums, lots of good info about tripods there.
