Sniper’s Hide Cup SHC Ruminations #1

I love the simplicity of the divisions, but I have an honest question. With all your experience and shooters you see, what guesstimate do you have on how many competitors use factory ammo? Since it's a vital part of limited, I'm assuming a lot. Just curious. Thanks!

Lovin the podcast, I appreciate the knowledge being shared. I also really like the format you guys use. Only criticism would be the audio. David you sound good, just gotta get Jacob's dialed in a little more.

    Would you shoot this match?

If you read enough of these gear threads, there is absolutely a TON of people blaming stage design. It's a lose lose situation to me. If a match required a ton of movement eventually people would get tired of that and the complaining would go the other way. "It's not a fitness competition, it's...

    Would you shoot this match?

I'd like to see a thread started where everyone that says "stage design" throws out a well laid out stage. I feel very blessed that our small local club has 3 ranges that we rotate each month, but even with the land we have there is only so many ways to skin a cat. Blaming MDs stage designs...

    Would you shoot this match?

I wonder if you could put the limits on the match that you want and then let anyone that wants to shoot it with whatever just understand their score won't count towards anything. If the match can support say 80 shooters and you get 60 that want to play the game by the rules let them compete...

    Would you shoot this match?

I personally really like everything except the muzzle device part. I understand your reasoning, I just don't shoot bare muzzle on anything anymore so it's not really "practical" for me personally. It would not stop me from trying out a match like this though! I wish there was more limits to...

    Chronograph now the time

No I haven't, I will try that though. It's pretty repeatable up and to the right about a tenth. My bayonet isn't directly under the barrel, kinda off to the left in the 8 o'clock position.

    Chronograph now the time

I use a magnetospeed v3 with a wiser mount and it does deflect slightly on my 6 dasher. I was disappointed because that was my whole reason for buying the mount. However I don't have to take it apart anymore, I just pull it off my arca rail and stick it in my cabinet. Takes me about 10 sec to...
