    Night Vision Safran TAD

To me the weight difference is not noticeable. The TAD is mounted more forward than the E-COTI, so that may or may not pose an issue rhinoed up for clearance in and out of vehicles and the like.

    Night Vision Safran TAD

Correct. no Bluetooth in the unit, cable data transfer only. Same for uploading a GPS route

    Night Vision Safran TAD

Having had both side by side, the resolution difference may be there on paper, but I can't see it. The presets appear to be more or less identical, but the manual gain setting on the E-COTI are quite valuable in getting the cleanest image. In theory, the ATAK plug-in should go public soon, so...

15 caps will be headed to Preston sometime tomorrow. A sacrificial window mount is on the way to adrummer292 as well. Once tested, that will also be available for those that may need it.

Night Vision Germanium sacrificial lens for skeetir

A lens holder prototype is done, using the original cap to cover the window for startup/NUC. I'll be sending it out for test shortly, but it looks pretty clean, if the window is good quality it should work nicely.

    Night Vision Safran TAD

For those that are interested, I have the cap built for the USB power cable, thanks to adrummer292 for the loan of his unit. I sent a note to Preston to see if SOK wants to carry these along with the original CUBA, if he does, they will be exclusive through them. If you already have a CUBA...

What can cause a bullet to impact higher, when moving back to 200 yards, from 100 yards?

True, but given the ranges and elevation, it would take a mount like that to cause the issue. If that were the case, I doubt the OP would be asking about it here.

What can cause a bullet to impact higher, when moving back to 200 yards, from 100 yards?

Absent a 5"+ high scope mount, if he is in fact zeroed at 100, it's low at 200. Yes, there are two zero points on a trajectory, but with conventional sights and cartridges, the near/far zero at 100 yards is at best 100 - 105. Caliber is not stated, nor is bore height, but a .308 with a factory...

What can cause a bullet to impact higher, when moving back to 200 yards, from 100 yards?

Are your sights above the bore? If so, and you were actually on zero at 100 then the bullet will strike low at 200. So, you either were not zeroed, or you incorrectly set the elevation knob. Gravity is not just a good idea, it's the law.

Measuring the velocity of the bullet a target distance

The Shotmarker is quite precise, assuming you make a good frame. I use it during XLR here at Gunsite. The radar chronos will work if you can put the bullet in the beam and use Doppler triggering, the original LabRadar works. The ShotMarker requires the bullet to be supersonic, the radar does not.
