    Are you going with a smaller gas port size than you would use with a .308 16” barrel? I’m wondering if using a 25% smaller gas port size would allow the rifle to run without an adjustable gas block?

    6.5 creedmoor AR Only

    Any one load for shorter barrels (16”-18”) with 140 grain bullets? I’ve been trying to get acceptable accuracy with 130 grain bullets and then had a near 6” group at 600 yards with 140 SMK FGGM. im getting 200 Barnes 140 grain match burners on friday to test out. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you for that information. I will stick with the IMR 4451 for now. With the 16” barrel, the rifle is very loud. I thought that was due to more powder burning outside the barrel. I’m going to a 600 yard practice shoot on Sunday to see how this rifle performs!

    Yeah, I trimmed about 1/2” from the BCG end. Was afraid it would deadline the AR10, but it ran like a top. I have a Wilson Combat adjustable gas block with tube on back order. This set up will keep me in business until it arrives!

    ION the gas tube for the Wilson Combat Intermediate barrel gas system is proprietary. 13.25” instead of the more common 13.75” intermediate gas tube. Now have a Wilson Combat adjustable gas block on order with the approximate tube. anyone ever cut a gas tube to fit before?
