    A little progress on the chess pieces....ended up going flat black on the one set, polished on the other. Now I need to do a range trip...I never save my pistol brass, so I’ll need to break in my new 92fs I guess. Going to need 256 9mm cases for the board.

    We don’t have that much room to shoot around here, currently limited to 500 yards. To make things more challenging/fun at 500, we shoot very small targets, eggs on golf tees, 2.5” sticker targets, beer cans, etc. For that type of shooting, high magnification definitely helps.
