    Defiance action in AICS 2.0

Bradu try Eurooptic.com just call them and ask if they have the newer AICS 2.0's. Pretty sure they do as my friend just had Phoenix Custom Rifles put a rifle together for him and the AICS was the "new" version from Eurooptic. You can tell cause the stock skins look different... more AX looking.

    Muzzle Jump?

If you're shooting off a bench with a bipod see if you can move the bipod so its closer to the magwell of the rifle. Then straddle the bench seat, push the rifle to the edge of the bench table and get square behind the rifle. Another option if the bipod is unable to move closer to the...

    Red Tac Rear Bag.

I bought my Red Tac gear rear bags almost 8 or 10 years ago now. Also have the SH limited edition Red Tac pillow/standard bag with Franks SH patches on the side. Still going strong after all these years. Stu makes great stuff.

Murphy precision stainless vs TPS black steel base. Is one machined wrong?

I agree. Big +1 for Cameron Murphy at Murphy Precision. He did a custom scope base for my Defiance/AX AiCS build and it fit great. I wanted it about the same plane as the AX AICS top rail and we were able to get it VERY close with just "rough" measurements over the phone. He's good to go.

    Break IN

When I get a new barrel I like to shoot 15-20 rounds and clean it to see if there is any noticeably bad copper fouling. Usually on hand lapped barrels from good barrel makers there is hardly any fouling present. I wouldn't call it a "break in" rather more like a personal "test" to see how it...

    anybody use zombie barrels

Re: anybody use zombie barrels Never heard of Zombie barrels. I don't know how cheap cheap is but for me a very good cheap barrel would be a Criterion barrel from Fulton Armory or straight from Criterion Barrels. Chrome lined or not, your choice.

    AICS or AX stocks

Re: AICS or AX stocks What Captain Kirk said above. I have the AX chassis also and like it very much. BUT, I mainly always shoot prone. If you can get behind one that would be the best way to determine if it's for you. Or see if a local store might have one in stock so you can feel it...

    AI Adjustable Butt plate

Re: AI Adjustable Butt plate 1. I would think the plate is interchangeable between both the AI chassis systems and the AI rifles. 2. There is another metal plate that allows the rubber pad to rotate/ move up/ down. This plate is roughly half an inch deep and will bolt onto the plate or...

    Rifle Scopes Hensoldt 3.5-26 x 56 FF

Re: Hensoldt 3.5-26 x 56 FF I'm not surprised it costs that much. I like my NH-1 but might consider selling it if Hensoldt has different reticle options. I like the big turrets on the new 4-16's too.

Chassis System (and an action) Question...

Re: Chassis System (and an action) Question... Most (if not all) chassis systems available on the market revolve around the Remington 700 action and it's aftermarket clones. Any remington 700 action will drop in with no modifications needed to the chassis or action on any one of these...

    My tactical gun cart

Re: My tactical gun cart All you're missing now is a Paladin converted to .22lr. Actually you should chamber it in .22 mag because the real one is in fact a cannon. Im just kidding. Not my thing but whatever floats your boat.

    expander ball ?

Re: expander ball ? As long as the turned necks fit in the chamber youre good. As for the neck tension I doubt you messed anything up enough to affect accuracy. With your turned necks and the bullet you wish to use, make a dummy round, measure the outside neck diameter of that dummy round...

    AX Chassis- Lets see them!

Re: AX Chassis- Lets see them! It might not clear. With that combo you have .045" of difference. Thats roughly less than a 16th of an inch. I would look to get a little higher rings just to be safe.
