    Pros and Cons of these two options

    I got behind and fire few shot of the Howa. Overall the bolt throw and cycle is not smooth. Bolt lift is very unpleasant for me. You might have to put few hundreds round to smooth it out. Accuracy is “ok” 0.60-0.75 moa with factory ammo.

    MOA base versus MOA scope mount

    Try get the most elevation much as possible. Total travel elevation of you scope divided by 2 then add your scope base + scope mount moa. Then match the closest of the total scope elevation.

    I can tell from your primer , your firing pin is the bigger pin that AXMC had. All the new AI AXSR now use the small firing pin to handle more pressure load.

    Your firing pin is the issue. I had the same problem before. Now I’m at 3200fps (126gr H50bmg with 300gr Berger) without any issue.
