    Fed up with stuck cases

I've only ever stuck one case in my life and at the time I ws using Hornady one-shot also. Switched to DCL about 15 years ago and haven't had a stuck case since. Was using RCBS lube with a pad before the one shot without a stuck case

New stock for R700 SPS Tactical, with a catch.....

I too am large framed and tall and the only stocks that fit right are either thumb hole or vertical grip. Length of pull becomes less of an issue for me when I can get my thumb away from my face and nose. The Boyds Varmint thumbhole is not a traditional stock but at $100 it can't be beat for the...

Without knocking out the crimped primer first your decapping pin will knock out the primer with intensity on some and ease...

Checking powder lot consistency by volume with a scale

I just wanted to pass on a trick I learned on how to check any powder's consistency when changing from one lot to another lot of the same powder WITHOUT shooting the load. You'll need a hand thrown powder measure(like a Uni-flow) 2 different lots of the same powder and a scale. Set up your...

Lot to lot variation in powder.

Every powder is sensitive to different temperatures and inconsistent from lot-to-lot. Buying the same lot in bulk will help minimize load development headaches but it won't change inconsistencies or sensitivity. Some powders are better than others and some powder manufacturers are better in...

Gunsmithing Rem 700 SPS .300 WM issues...
