    I have found that the 175 FGMM has grouped the best so far, I have not faired well with other rounds that I have tried so far. I have the Bartlein barrel on mine. I have finally found some other options to try but it will have to wait until after hunting season when I put that barrel back on.

    Because everytime I take a shit in the woods something always walks wthin 15 yds of me, 3x or 4x doesnt work well in that scenario. You want a 308 because 6mm still didnt take a large pig down at that range.

    I run the Vortex gen 2 Razor 1-6, Trijicon Accupower 1-8, and Steiner T5xi 3-15 on my 16"/18" guns and I cannot complain about them at all. Great for hunting down here in the south and I have used the Steiner out to 1150yds on a 16" 308.

    LPVO opinions

    I'm kinda likng the Trijicon Accuppwer 1-8 for a FFP LPVO. Haven't had any issues with it in a couple years. Definitely get the red over the green for brightness.

    I had the same issue as the OP with a V7 DPMS BCG and it was an out of spec extractor. Talked to V7, they confirmed my findings and sent a new extractor, that problem was solved. Contact the company and tell them what's going on and they should fix you right up.

    I swap between 6 creed and 308 quite often now and it is always +/- a .1 mil at most from where it was but that's probably because I hand tighten the barrels.
