I am leaning Magnus S-RR for my AT-XC shooting short action stuff like 6.5 PRC/6.5 Creed/308/6 Creed. I have been running my hunting can on there lately, the Ultra 7 Gen 2 and I'd like it back to full time dedicated hunting use.
I use my 33, never gave it a second thought about slightly lighter options. I am picky about what goes in my pack and if hunting with others make sure you aren't redundant on items that aren't necessary.
I haven't had an AT side by side to the XC to do a direct comparison and I sold my AT-LE a few years back so I am operating off of old memories but I don't recall it being all that different. The other advancements in the chassis mean a lot more to me than the bolt feel but I realize I might be...
It gets better and I personally don't understand the desire to have a slicker than goose shit bolt like so many desire. You run an AI in an agricultural way, it becomes second nature and you don't think twice about it after a few hundred rounds. You'll like that larger bolt handle too.
Up for sale are two very lightly used/like new Accurate Mag Short Action 5-Round AICS 308 magazines. I prefer to sell the pair together, $OLD shipped via discreet PayPal/Venmo FF/Gift or Zelle.
MPCT-3X. All of their reticles are great, pick your poison. Seems lots of guys are going back to the basics and choosing the simple MPCT-1X of late which I love for a hunting reticle/optic.
