    Suppressors Baffle and Endcap Concentricity

Which mount are you using? Curious if you had your barrel threaded to Surefire's specs or if you just installed on factory threads? Using any shims or a crush washer?

Buds gun shop makes "assault rifle" section

Good to hear! I can certainly see valid points on both sides of the argument. I do strongly believe Buds and any other gun shop can, and should, be free to say anything they want as it relates to their business and terminology used on their website. Clearly that's a fundamental freedom we all...

    Best overall complete lower?

If it was a lower manufactured as an SBR you do NOT need to get it engraved.

    Suppressors DD MK18 Supressor

You should check into availability of the KAC QDC. It's ridiculous on the MK18 with MAMS. I saw one on GB a few weeks ago.

Suppressors Purchased AAC 300TM, did I make the right decision?

I'd bet my savings account that the shift that guy was seeing was a result of the threads on his barrel not being concentric to the bore.....not a result of the can itself. That's a pretty common issue with thread on cans if you don't have your barrel threaded to the MFGers thread specification...

    Education on modern ar's

Hahaha! Yep. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Father, the Son, and even the Holy Ghost all run SR-15 IWS Mod 2s. Then again, they'd probably laugh and say, "Of course not. We slang SR16s E3s. Why? Because when you create universes and shit, you do what you want to do."

    Lilja 6.5 Grendel SBR

I was just trying to see if there was a way I could help you out brother. Chasing yet another 6.5 project definitely wasn't something I was planning on.....unless I had an excuse of course and it'd help you get to that barrel total. I'm pretty happy with my 18" JP for now. Next time though...

    Lilja 6.5 Grendel SBR

While I wouldn't be interested in an 11.5"or 12.5", I'd dig a 13.5" or 13.75" middy. It'd be interesting to see if it's still holding acceptable velocities at 700-800 yds to put enough energy on small game or lower end of medium game down at that range. Let me know if you're able to tie in...

    AR triggers

I would highly recommend either the Match Rifle or DMR versions of Geissele's Hi Speed National Match trigger line. Each stage is adjustable and not hard to do. I love being able to tune these to different pull weights and find what I like relative to the rifle and application rather than being...

Ejector Swipes with Large Frame AR's

I put yes, but don't anymore. About 8 months ago, I finished up a .338 Federal with 18" mid length gas, SLR block, JP BCG, JP barrel, with matching bolt and tried numerous buffers/springs in both standard carbine and A5 lengths. No matter what I did to the gas adjustments, springs, buffer...

New to AR free float hanguards...

Ben, POF rails are indeed proprietary and can only be mounted to POF uppers and barrel nuts exclusively. The design is specific to their system and won't fly on anything else other than a GAP 10 or Hogan rifle. They should, like you mentioned, screw into the top rail of the upper receiver as...

    450 bushmaster

Thanks brother. I appreciate that, especially coming from you. While all of the info you can gather from all the experience out there on sites like the Hide is extremely valuable, I think it's tough to apply it without having a lot of experience. Without experience one might just not know what...

What should I expect from noveske

I've seen great accuracy out of Noveske tubes with their Mod 0 chambers. Like Caylen said, it's a 5.56 chamber. It's pretty common to see Wylde chambers on your SPRish rifles. WOA uses the Wylde chamber quite often - as does JP, NorthTech, and others. WOA is also extremely accurate. If I shot my...

Few questions about modifying KAC SR25

Hell yes my man, I'd do it! I'd wait till I got my can though.....and NO the Surefire would not be the better choice over the QDC+MAMS. IMO the QDC and MAMS is the best suppressor/brake combo in existence as of current day. The reason you can't find one is because the military gobbled up the...

    Education on modern ar's

All good responses, and all have valid points. Ultimately, many people shrug off design improvements to address weak points of the system as 'fads' just because they bought something different. While that's complete bullshit, those people will probably never be in a scenario where they have to...

    Education on modern ar's

Thanks Ghengis, that clarifies things a bit. That said, there are so many companies and so many quality products it'll be painstakingly difficult to hit all of them, but I'll highlight a few things I've noticed over the years that differentiate the quality and function of some companies design...

    Education on modern ar's

I'd have to agree with N0mad. When the AR15 is the topic at hand and the focus is on the advantages realized via design, mechanical, and/or operational variations there really isn't a way to effectively answer the question considering it will be wholly dependant on subjective criteria. The...

opinions, everyone has one, and I want to hear it.

Maybe a double barrel. Just in case the first time isn't good enough, the second go 'round should do the trick.
