Well you get that .308 Win Barrel and I’d straight up swap you. A lot of these $600 barrels I’m seeing have 200-300 rounds on them. Which sometimes isn’t a big deal but on some barrel burner calibers I’d say that’s a lot. Idk, anything is worth what someone is willing to pay, but it’s a good...

I mean it would be factory fired but me personally I won’t shoot it after I get it so the price of an factory barrel shipped without taxes seems fair... but could be wrong. Or I’d trade it for a 6CM or .308 Win Barrel, something I’d use more

Very interested then because I know there is a bunch of different profiles on the barrel. The video Frank with Mile High made and even yours there was a big mention of how heavy the barrel is. I talked with a gunsmith at Mile High about barrels and profiles specifically for that reason because I...

Just watched those both. Very helpful like always 👍. Since you’ve had your hands on it I was interested in the results with the 6 Creedmoor barrel you threw on it. I really don’t plan on using the 6.5 Creedmoor barrel it comes with and already have a 6 Creed barrel on order to ship at the same...

So about colors I’ve talked to Mike High a few times. Everyone that’s seen the red in person says it’s pretty dang nice but I want it for more than just PRS so I didn’t want red. I got Dark Earth. The other colors have to be the same as what they already offer. Only big difference, the action...

Ohh I’ll be competing with it right out of the box, just know those accessories would be nice to have. It’s already way better than anything else I’ve got so it’ll work. I know the wait is going to suck but I still don’t think it’s as bad as running a Form 4, at least there is people you can ask...

First AI period. So I’m excited and anxious lol. First big league rifle by a lot and a major upgrade to what I’ve been using. What’s going to kill me is when they ship out the rifle and support products are 6 months after that like the folding stock adapter, barrel shroud bridge and the weights...

They have any update on when they’re gonna start shipping out?

I could deal with that weight for a solid performing rifle I feel confident with. Granted that’s not a pack on elk rifle or something I’d haul for sheep hunting in Alaska. But hogs, deer out a stand, coyotes, etc I’d take it for sure. And even if balance sucks and it really back heavy it just...

I also plan to hunt with the AT-X although not getting for that purpose. I want a Steel 6CM barrel for matches mostly then a Carbon 20” .308win for Tac class matches and hunting. Eventually would love a 6.5 PRC in carbon either 22-24” then throw a lighter scope like a Mk5 3.6-18x44 and I don’t...

That’s an affirm. Pre-order through Mile High. They said ship date is end of March or beginning of April

Well about the only thing I’m positive of is that I don’t want 6.5 Creedmoor so if you want to buy it you got it. I’d love to trade barrels for something I’d use. Otherwise I’m looking for makers that have something in stock so when the rifle comes in I can shoot it. I intend to leave the...

So I got my pre-order in for the AT-X. I’m still torn over the barrel. to me it looks like the AT-X barrel is a heavier contour than the regular ones, does anyone know what profile it is? And what would the shank size be? Has to be the AT/AX one not the larger AXMC correct?

All solid points too. I don’t think I will regret either one but I know I’ll always wonder about whichever I don’t get.

I feel this lol. Anymore I’m trying to adopt the “I can’t afford to buy cheap shit” because I always end up fighting it or hating and selling it for a loss anyways

Ballpark guess is the folding adapter for the stock and shroud is probably $200 each and to get 4-6 weight sets are probably $75 each going by MDT weight prices. Probably a solid $700 extra on top of the price of the rifle. Which is over a grand more than a full custom impact action...

    Accuracy International AT-X

Yeah I’d been pricing out an impact/foundation build I just have way more familiarity with a chassis type rifle. I’d say I’m novice at PRS. Have about a dozen matches or so under my belt and have an idea of what I want for it at least. Spending that much on any rifle I like the adjustability of...

Hey all. Hoping someone knows more about the rifle or others here. I want the new AT-X, I’ve never owned an AI but always wanted one. First is magazines. Will regular AICS mags fit into it or is it only the AI double stack mags? I want to find a magazine that holds 12 rounds for PRS and want to...
