Nucleus bump on close (renamed again)

Yup, same here... My excitement with my pre ordered John Hancock is all but gone. I’m new to this and don’t have the skill or even knowledge to have even figured this out if it was my rifle. Perhaps, selling my spot might be the best option at this point

    S&W Performance Center T/C LRR

Agreed. There is nothing “performance” about anything out of the S&W Performance center. I say that as a fan of S&W M&P pistols. I don’t think that that means this rifle will be junk, but I personally wouldn’t want to be the test case for a new release of a S&W product

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

I keep finding myself wondering if I should have gone with a Tikka... Then I take a look at the groups others are getting with ARC / PVA gear and the desire to have anything else fades....quickly.

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

Well, I'm super excited for my JH whenever its ready. Im not sure why all the negativity in this thread. I seriously doubt any one of us "need" our product so bad its worth crapping on a manufacturer as much as Ive seen here. Relax aready.

After spending all that money do you wish...

I agree with this idea 100% percent. I have a 455 with a Talos on it. That seems reasonably appropriate for my intentions and what i expect the rifle to be. To throw that same Talos on a Vudoo seems almost disrepectful to the capabilities of the rifle. Im still dealing with the sticker...

After spending all that money do you wish...

Well, i hope i havent wasted my time on a 455... I have $500 into the rifle (tacticool model) $100 into 419 rail $60 in Burris rings and $235 into a Athlon Talos BTR. In theory, that should A reasonably decent complete setup for under $1k with some money left over for some bedding if needed...

    Nucleus Orders

I dont have an order with ARC, I have one with PVA but the JH clearly stated deposits are non-refundable. I would be surprised if ARC was any different

My Area 419 30moa rail is due in today. Was going to put a SWFA fixed mag scope on, but saw the 20% eBay coupon today so I ordered up a Athlon Talos BTR for $219. Threw a Harris bipod on for cheap Just need rings and I'm ready to go shooting. I'm sure there will be lots of upgrades later...

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

That would be incorrect. That action was the prototype and not a production run action. The milestone was the finishing of the laser engraving process and now the wait for production actions to finish machining barrels based on final tolerances and spec.

I recall April 16th perhaps? And I believe its was small parts and bolt face.... significantly more labor intensive than "screw" Ask until your heart is content, it wont change the fact that I dont expect to see anything real for a significant amount of time and that's ok with me. I could...

PVA Status Updates: Hancock Rifle & NUCLEUS Barreled Action

As previously stated ARC had issues with a vendor and subsequently had to purchase machinery to produce parts in house. These parts should have been in production prior to the announcement of the Nucleus action.... To me, that says at bare minimum ARC is at least a month and a half behind...
