NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

With the RimX, the bolt closing with a barrel installed is the effective "go" gauge. As long as the no-go that we supplied doesn't close, you're good to go. The way we capture a round and set headspace is unique to our system. Thank you - Ray

Not the same at all. The TL3 and Origin have different bolt bodies completely. Thanks - Ray

    RimX Go NoGo?

All actions ship with a no-go gauge in the baggie with rail screws and trigger pins. Thanks - Ray

At that frequency, there's nothing you're doing wrong. If you've had <0.2% issues over time, those are more than likely just freak accidents. I understand they suck, but, generally, what accident doesn't suck? There shouldn't be an explicit need to change bolt head components each time there's...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

No. That would require the traditional protruding extraction system which would require timed extractor cuts in the barrels which is one of the major selling points of the RimX action. Thank you - Ray

    Origin Single Feed

Check your extractor's movement. It should move relatively freely by pushing on it by hand. If it doesn't move nice and smooth, take the extractor out and inspect it for burrs or any other damage. Throw a dab of grease in the slot on the bolt face and reinstall it. If it continues to give you...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

No, sear height and COC are not related. COC is related to the sear length. .010" of COC is pretty darn low and close to undetectable but could be improved upon if it were felt totally necessary. Thanks - Ray

It is currently true that BnA triggers paired with any of our actions should use the LOW sear. Thanks - Ray

I don't think that will be something we do large scale.

A revision to this part is currently being programmed and will be in the machines in the coming weeks. Admittedly, it was an oversight and it should have been longer from the start. We all live and learn every day. Thanks - Ray

    TL3/shouldered pre-fit issue

Tolerance stacking in an action makes it more likely that it's an issue with our product than PROOF's. OP, like others have said, just shoot me an email. I'll get you a return label to send the BA in for inspection. Thanks - Ray ([email protected])

    TL3 w/ Weak Ejection & Extraction Issues

    Zermatt Arms Ti3

Ti3 bolts are the same as a TL3 but the bolt heads are totally interchangeable on all centerfire actions. We don't plan to offer any extended rails. The rails made for Travis were an after hours project as a one time exclusive. Thank you - Ray

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

One real quick point for everyone ordering extractors and questioning their composition: COLOR IS NOT AN INDICATOR OF THE REVISION OF YOUR EXTRACTOR. All of the extractors being produced and that have been produced for well over 18 months now have been Rev2 produced with S7 rather than A2. The...

Gunsmithing Help on rail mount selection

Thanks for the clarification. There was no response because you indicated you had solved the issue yourself by replacing it with another product among other things. I'll be happy to send you a return label and a refund for the product. I'll reach out via email so we don't unnecessarily plug...

Removing the firing pin assembly is removing all of the spring pressure so it makes sense what you're experiencing. With the assembly installed in a fully assembled rifle, there will always be some force to close the bolt. I haven't read anything that would indicate a problem but I'll be happy...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Make sure you've got grease on the stem of the bolt head inside of the bolt body and around the stem of the shroud inside of the bolt body. These areas are greased in assembly but sometimes people think they need to clean it out. Don't clean it out without replacing it. It could be a burr on...
