Rear gun support in the field (?)

Your pack makes a great rest from a trip pod. If your prone a lite rear bag can help immensely. Definitely practice for how you plan to be shooting. A lot of elk hunters on our flat range sitting behind a cozy bench touting their new rifles accuracy 😁 Throw them in the prone or sitting supported...

Forward optics mounting rail for McMillian stock?

Baddest military action - based target/sniper rifle

I'm still partial to the Vietnam era M40 and M70 that Carlos and Chuck used. The 1903A4 still holds a special place in my stable too...

Baddest military action - based target/sniper rifle

The 1903A4's are quite capable, but still get second place compared to a good shooting 1903 with the 8x scope. The 2.5x scope view below is at 400 yards. When I first purchased my 1903 for the build I found a silver St. Michael necklace and the below note in the stock tube. Pretty neat.

My lastest project/hooligan bike. 79 XS650 street tracker. Don't mind the GPS zip tied to the handle bars 🤣 I had to see what my top speed with the new tires and gears was.

Thought I'd drop these here. That is my great grandfather on the Excelsior. He owned a hardware store in town and sold them. On the weekends he raced them at the fairgrounds.

    M40 clone build

Honored that you think it looks like your fine work sir. In the place of anodizing I stripped the original finish while assembed, finished the aluminum to look the part of ano., and mixed up a custom o.d. green candy coat at my brother's body shop. Take a peek at the first page of this post...
