    yup. I run the XLR on my 300 win mag. my furthest kill is 562 yards. I don't think I have any problems with it in the cold. might get a little chilly, but that's about all. haha. good luck!

    I was at the range today shooting out to 100yards. running 200g accubonds over a starting point of 72g of H1000. I shot ten groups today and these seven got me really confused! I have a consistent flyer that's not consistently in the same spot. rifle is a 26" bartlein SS 5R. .05" off the lands...

    i run the X1A1 with a custom built 300 win mag sitting in an XLR chassis with leupold mk4. it fits well. ive packed that thing around Kansas, Idaho, Arizona and Africa. for the mid size pack holding the heavier precision rifles, I think its a great deal!
