    Re: Whats the deal .223 with 1 in 9 twist IMR 8208 will get you close to or over 3000 fps with a 69gn bullet.but will add it will be a max load to get it.Hodgdon says 23.8 is a max load.and I am at 24.0gn's and the sign's of pressure are OK.
