    Re: .22lr out of a 1:7 twist AR I had mixed results with 1/9 twist barrels. Minimags did not shoot well at all. Federal bulk pack and CCi standard velocity shot the most reliable.

    who has success with 41.5gr Varget?

    Re: who has success with 41.5gr Varget? my LTR shoots great with 44.2 Varget 175SMK and CCI BR2 primer. Using blackhills and winchester brass. Federal brass shoots well also but shows some slight pressure signs.

    Re: Palmetto State has bulk pack 855 Yeah I know in march of 2012 I bought tons of it for 139/420 on stripper clips. It's insane what ammo is these days. .223 going for 1.00/rnd at times. I don't buy .308 at that price usually.

    Re: Strange mark on once fired brass I bought It's safe to shoot. I have about 3K .308 and a few thousand .223 with a similar mark. After a few sizings and tumblings it is hardly noticeable anymore. It has zero effect on the brass.
