    Inner workings of a semi-auto.

Thanks, just ordered the book. I have a varmint RRA heavy 24" barrel in 223, 1/2" or smaller groups are not a challenge. I proceeded to jump into 308 with a Remington R25. Replaced barrel with a Krieger M110, they asked for the bolt for optimum fit, Geiselle trigger, Superlative adjustable...

    Any special deals on labradar?

Haven't found one on sale, however Brownells appears to be the lowest one in shipping ($3.95) and no sales tax Midway is offering free shipping, however as a California resident taxes will be required ($50+) I recently acquired a Ruger 338 (we shoot to a mile in the desert) and I am getting...

Never get stuck at a table next to a gun dealer...

LOL, no worse than being at a public range. For some reason the shooter next to me is always an expert ballistician, sharpshooter, historian, who owns a collection worth of an armory.

    RPR 338 damaging brass

Good insight. Although I did not feel any abnormal resistance/drag during extraction. However I loaded (5) different powder loads, that is a variable that could explain the different degrees of "gouging"

    RPR 338 damaging brass

Thanks, tried that, also loaded 5 dummy rounds, fed extracted at different speed, energy levels, could not duplicate the "gouge" Inspected all 50 rounds I noticed that on some the damage is lower and in several none existent. Noticed and addressed several sharp edges, refer to this link for...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Xandrosi, folding hand trucks are a multipurpose tool for the sportsman. I used to dive with my niece, (she outgrew me) the walk was a couple of hundred yards. The manly divers would suit up and walk in their wetsuit carrying all their gear. I would just load my hand truck and wheel my gear...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Xandrosi 1/4 mile stroll on a rifle case? Not advisable as the wheels (at least on Storm) are relatively small. My recommendation would be to carry the rifle using an Eberlestock Rifle Backpack. Or get a folding handtruck. I use something similar to this folding hand truck when the terrain is...
