SVT 40 Sniper Rifle, rare bird

MAS 44, 49, 49/56, FN49, FAL, AG42, SVT38, SKS, SVT40 among a few military rifles operate with the same tilt block mechanism. SVT were designed with a weight constraint, the stocks are slim and somewhat fragile. I have a later SVT-40 no scope rail. The Soviets realized it s accuracy...

Benning sniper competition on History Chan

I remember seeing previous competitions where we could see the foreign teams and their gear. As I recall the Danish team was shot P210. The pistol scenarios were outdoors, 25 meters for handguns. Kudos for the teams that competed. Did the best sniper team win or the best geared team?

    Swiss K31: Stunning

Remove the buttplate, you may find a tag. The tag will have the last soldier's information. Some individual's have corresponded with the rifle's last user. Nice trigger, if you look closely at the receiver you will notice its is not symmetrical, the right side is heavier as it contains the...

Rifle Scopes Is this a good deal from SWFA? Never bought from the Samplelist

Scope was received, well packaged, in typical SWFA fashion there are no instructions. Scope does not show any signs of installation/abuse. Noticed a small surface flaw by the occular housing. Nothing a sharpie cannot fix. I am a user not an admirer of optics. Clicks are positive and well...

Cool, I received a UPS tracker; it will be in my hands on Monday. I will see how it compares to an NXS. Like an idiot I forgot about the free shipping on orders over $49; sent an an email and all is well. Easy folks to work with.

Rifle Scopes Is this a good deal from SWFA? Never bought from the Samplelist

Greetings I did look at both SWFA units in the PX. Neither unit is illuminated. Chris and Skylar at SWFA provide great service. I had an old SS 16X; after several years of use the clicks became imperceptible; it was replaced in a week.

"Hit".... Credit card just took a hit. After your comments I did a quick search for used SWFA 5-20, the current used price in several sites, non illuminated is ~850-900. Thanks
