    18" 22ARC

I ran a 18" 6 ARC for a bit. Was getting 2550ish with Hornady Black 105's. Using a Rainier Arms Ultramatch now and same ammo gets me 2610 or so. I will probably try to shoot a match with it before end of the year. It's shooting the 108 ELD M's pretty well.

Bad Barrel or Bad Chamber Job?

Scope mount sure seems like the easiest explanation.

Accurate gas gun 6.5 cm barrels under 750$?

I know that Criterion made the Rainier Ultra Match for them for many years though I think that is over. I have the Rainier barrel and it's been decent for me so far. Shoots 108 elds with 6mm ARC very well. Krieger would be the pinnacle IMO.

LabRadar ... in case you're listening

I'm not interested at all in the new labradar device. The Caldwell Velociradar looks like it could be a winner since it will detect downrange velocity as well from the ads I've seen.

Proper Break In - Weatherby Vanguard

Blast from the past. When I was first getting into the sport I used to watch this guy all the time. What happened to him? He still releasing stuff?

Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro why or why not?

I wouldn't look at one while MPA, Aero, and Seekins are all making better guns for the same or less money.

    Barreled Action and Chassis Help

The solus action is on sale right now at Patriot Valley Arms for 1099 and it's really hard to find a better deal than that. Once you configure the barrel to have 5/8x24 barrel threading it should be around 1100 bucks. The Osprey barrels usually shoot quite well. As far as the action itself...

Lets see your 6 ARC build

The jury is still out. So far the Precision Hunter ammo has been sub-moa, but it really doesn't like Hornady Black 105's lol. Probably around 2 moa with that so far. I'm just using it to get some brass so I can see if Varget or CFE223 makes a good powder for it.

What barrel profiles do you use?

I like the Palma contours. Medium Palma is what I have right now on my comp rig (PRS), but next time I'll probably do M24 or MTU.

Weatherby Mk V as a base for a custom build?

If you can find a Weatherby 307 action that would be a much better choice since it is an R700 pattern and will fit Remage barrels and 700 pattern stocks and chassis.

300wm in PRS? Hear me out..

If you're honestly considering 300 WM it would probably cheaper to get one of the barreled Howa actions from Brownells in 6.5. The cost in ammo to run a 300 WM for a full season would more than pay for the cost of a cheap Howa action/barrel and something like a Bravo or XRS.

Lets see your 6 ARC build

Built mine from scrap parts of other builds minus the barrel and handguard. I'm still thinking about adding a vertical grip to it and I haven't decided on a scope yet though I'm checking out the Optika 6 from Europtic since they're on sale right now. Will probably finish off with a Griffin...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Order placed yesterday and it arrived today. Pretty impressed with Scheels shipping. Even Amazon takes a couple days usually.

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Competition is the mother of innovation. Remember the 2010's era of smartphones? Where every 2 years getting a new phone was basically a generational leap. Now that the hardware and software has stagnated you could keep your smartphone for 4-5 years and not notice much difference in performance...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Yeah, understood. Doesn't mean a company can't improve. Garmin just lit a fire under their ass and they'll need to start swimming or sink.

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Honestly I hope they release either a software update or a new product that makes things competitive. The market is better when there's realistic competition. Magnetospeed is a good product but it's limited in both mounting options and measurement capabilities. If they can figure out their...

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

I placed my order from Scheels yesterday and am receiving it today. Hard to beat that shipping speed. I'll have to work up some new loads to test it out.

Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!

Are most of you using the fixed or pivoting bolt throw? Looking hard at one of these as I owned a Nucleus Gen 1 and really liked it.
