Looking for Berger 6.5 140gr VLD hunting bullets

Re: Looking for Berger 6.5 140gr VLD hunting bullets I emailed Berger and asked when they would be hitting the shelves again and they didn't give me a definitive answer. They told me that they were trying to get caught up and to get on a back order list with someone. If you find some let me...

Rifle Scopes Anyone added ZeroStop turrets to their NF?

Re: Anyone added ZeroStop turrets to their NF? I liked the zero stop but I didn't like the fact that I lost the revolution scale under the turret. The second scope I got I didn't get the zero stop and I have not missed it at all.

Rifle Scopes Mil or MOA ?

Re: Mil or MOA ? LL no disrespect but I think you are missing the point of the people that ARE using the reticle for measurement. Yes a rangefinder is usually the way to go but IF you have to use the reticle for ranging most people will learn the MOA set up faster.

    Rifle Scopes Leupold CDS Dials

Has anybody had these installed or had any dealings them? I like the low profile and they look like they would work well for a hunting scope. I have a 6.5-20 LR that I think I might want to try them on. David

Rifle Scopes Premier Reticles MOA/MOA Scope

Re: Premier Reticles MOA/MOA Scope I know if I am ranging with the reticle it's a lot easier for me in MOA than it is in MIL's. I can do the math in my head quickly without having to convert a target in inches to Mils to get a range or having to use a Mildot Master. I guess it's all about...

Need help - Brass is growing during resize.

Re: Need help - Brass is growing during resize. Leaddog have you tried chambering the brass after you have resized it?. Make sure that the brass will not chamber easily before you start trying to bump the shoulder back. Sometimes it will take up to 3 firings before you start getting any...

Rifle Scopes Premier Reticles MOA/MOA Scope

Re: Premier Reticles MOA/MOA Scope I'm just glad to see somebody else besides myself likes the MOA/MOA setup. I like my Nightforce, don't get me wrong, but I would like to see something with better glass with a MOA reticle. David

Wolf SRM primer problems with 6.5x47

Re: Wolf SRM primer problems with 6.5x47 Sisu the pieces of metal that you found were probably from the primer that you pierced. I know that you said that couldn't see through it but unless you removed the anvil you wouldn't be able to see through it.

6.5 twist rate for 139-142gr projos

Re: 6.5 twist rate for 139-142gr projos There's been a lot of talk about the button rifled barrels not being the exact twist that they are supposed to be. If it is a true 9 twist you will be on the border line with the 142's but it should stabilize the 140's. You won't know till you try.

    7WSM bushing size

Got a call from my gunsmith and he said that he should be finished with my 7WSM by the end of the week. I'm getting all my reloading stuff together and was wondering what size bushings to get. I was figuring on maybe a .311 and a .312". Has the 7WSM brass neck thickness been fairly consistent? I...
