Re: Multi-tool recomendations After I broke two sets of SOG switch pliers and a pair of gerbers, I bought some leatherman charge ti. They came with an extra set of bits and a nylon case for about $115, six years ago. I have carried them and used some part of them everyday for that time, and...

    Gunsmithing LCP FTF

My Lcp is FTF. I can pull the trigger all the way to the rear and the hammer doesn't fall. On the right side of the frame, above the trigger, the "rod" that runs along inside there pushes the frame out. If I hold in on the frame at that location, the hammer will fall. I have ran about 400 down...

    I have a dusty beaver.......

Re: I have a dusty beaver....... My taxidermist says he uses the swifter dusters. I rub my beaver with one once a month;-) I use pledge on his nose, tail, and feet. Do not use a vacuum or compressed air, it will cause skin irritation and you could end up with a bald beaver. For real though...

Re: .308 SPS Varmint- barrel cutting question I had a 26" vls 308 cut to 20" and I firmly believe it increase the accuracy. I boxed up two remmys today to ship to a smith to get spiral fluted. Gunsmithing ever had a beretta 390 tore apart?

I'm taking a 390 apart to cerakote it and I've hit a snag. I cant get the roll pin that holds the cartridge latch body in the action. I have already driven out the horizontal stop pin but I can't seem to get the vertical pin out, that holds the latch in place. Any help would be appreciated.
