Night Vision BAE UTC-X vs EOTech Clip IR ELR

No, absolutely not. Both will comfortably handle 16 or even 20X (depending on several factors I mentioned previously). You’re imagining far more difference than there is. In direct, side by side, head to head comparisons, it’s hard to tell which one supports more magnification, and not everyone...

Night Vision BAE UTC-X vs EOTech Clip IR ELR

Both units would do what you’re describing, and all 3 scopes would be appropriate. There’s a lot of personal preference issues between those. For me, the UTC-X wins (dramatically) for its size/weight, and much superior core (how the thermal image is interpreted for your eyes/ brain to perceive...

Night Vision BAE UTC-X vs EOTech Clip IR ELR

There are other (often more important) things to consider when comparing those two, but I’ll assume you have considered them. The EoTech will support slightly more day scope magnification. Nobody can meaningfully answer how much each can handle. It’s VERY subjective. I’ve used a Voodoo-S...

    Tikka action build

You crack me up. You read without comprehension and then laughed at the version of my comment that you created in your haste/error. 1. Yes, I specifically said that was in comparison to Remington actions 🤦‍♂️ 2. Yes, Some customs are superior in some (or several) respects. Some are not...

    Tikka action build

R700 actions have several shortcomings, which is why there’s a healthy market for custom actions. If you look up the original shortcomings that the customs were trying to solve, you’ll find that Tikka actions solve them all. Wider stiffer rear tang to prevent flex - check Stiffer action -...

Night Vision Eotech clipir mk2 elr vs VoodooM

You will detect better with the M due to the way the core smokes the competition. PID will theoretically be slightly harder due to the slight pixel density difference. I can’t make hits under actual field conditions at near the distance the M will PID a yote, so for me it’s irrelevant.

Night Vision Eotech clipir mk2 elr vs VoodooM

I have used both. I choose the M hands down, but I know people who feel differently. If you’re a BAE core kind of guy, you will definitely prefer the M. As I’ve posted before, I’ve had conditions where animals didn’t show up at all with Eotech/Theon clip ons, where they showed up great with BAE...

    SOLD Vortex Impact 4000 LRF

I’ll take this, per our conversation… cash sale in a dark parking lot in another state at 5:15am… guys… if you don’t hear from me again, just know I died doing something I love (sketchy weapon deals) 🙂

    UTMX or IRAY Rico MKII

That doesn’t answer it (my fault for not asking a better question). High end clip-ons like the UTM-X are head and shoulders above everything else… for those who need what a real clip-on offers, which is the ability to go from day to night use or from dark to light environment (lit building...

Night Vision Sig ECHO CV25 LWIR 640x512 Thermal Clip-On

Someone will get it right at some point (hopefully N-Vision due to BAE core and USA made), so it’s remotely possible it’s these guys… so dream away 🙂 The market needs beta testers 🤷‍♂️

Night Vision Sig ECHO CV25 LWIR 640x512 Thermal Clip-On

Some of you are showing that you’re not aware of history. Sneaky slimy ways of tricking consumers about the collimation or non-collimation of these units is not new, and this description is DRIPPING with the same shady non-speak that separated some of you from your hard earned dollars just a...

    SOLD BAE UTM-x with Tracir

Sometimes I swap out the UTM-X for the Voodoo-s. No difference in performance or magnification support, but it’s fun to mix things up! 100 yards. That’s a chip shot, but further than I normally see these guys due to terrain.

No, but I do want to look through a T50 someday. It’s one of the ones I used to look for and never experienced.

Night Vision Pixels on Target Voodoo-B handheld

I owned its predecessor, the BAE UTB-X. Frankly, it’s overrated for any civilian use. I never served, so militarily applications might be very different, but for a civilian hunter, there’s no meaningful benefit. A N-Vision Halo has a surprisingly similar image, with factory support/warranty. I...
