    Rust?

This might be the only good use for Oneshot, in my book. Spray a nice coat on them. Or some gun oil. I had this problem, when I reloaded in my garage. After you oil them, store them in a heavy Zip Lock bag.

    COAL for Factory Rem700?

I load mine 1 to 2 K off the lands, for "accuracy", but I have to single feed them. I can't/ won't give you my number, cause it's mine! It doesn't matter. cause you have to measure your gun, anyway. Using some one elses number would be dangerous/ guesswork, for you.

40 S&W test results and Thanks

Function test for a Beretta Px4 Storm and HK P30. Unique: 4.2,4.6,5,5.4 Grns. Titegroup: 3.5,4,4.2,4.5 Grns. All loads functioned in both guns, which are stock from the factory. I settled on 4, for the Titegroup and 4.6, for the Unique, to safely cover charge deviations from the thrower. They...

My new old Savage Range report.

The targets went in the range trash can. I'm not bangin my chest, here. I just wanted to mention that it was surprising for me. Mention Savage, here, and some guys treat you like you screwed their sister. This is my first Savage. After 6 Remys.

    My New Savage 10P-SR

Nice looking gun. I'd shoot her, for a while before dumping more cash into her. Those rings look a little high for my tastes. I try to keep my scopes as low as I can.. Good luck.

Prairie dog AR 15. Stock or build?

I bought a Stag model 6, a few years ago, and it's very accurate.Doing it again, I'd get a good upper bull barrel set up, and put the savings into a better scope.

My new old Savage Range report.

First time to the range, with an older 110v I picked up, in .223. Bone stock. No bedding work. Original trigger, etc. I have to admit: I was pleasantly surprised. After a fouling group, with some PMC factory loads, and some minor scope tweaking, I started shooting . I was using some hand loads...

    shooting beyond 500 yards

What load, are you shooting? Could it be going subsonic at 550? OR, maybe it' s a psychological problem. You may be "tensing",because you,re "taking the next big step"in the game. Could be cant. some learned members are mentioning the coriolis, and spin drift. BAAHh HUMBUG! Any...

Your Advice Regarding Optics for a 5.56

I'm an old guy. I like a little more power, in my optics. I use 5-20, 6-24, 8-32 and even 12-42. They are a mix of NForce , Nikon, vortex and Sightron. Oh, and a few vintage Leupolds. The Vortex, and Sightrons are pretty good, for the price. The nikons are 1 in. Tubes, and don't have a lot...

Jeez, navy! Ya could have at least sprung for a new blade! I think the heat may be getting to ya. Now ya need a new file. That work should get you banned. The bullets are gonna fly away, from shame, a little wounded from that crown, and drop to the ground and cry, at MOA

RELOADING PROBLEM what can I do???

Ok. I found a picture of your die in my Sinclair catalog. Looks like the nut is on upside down on the shaft, and the bushing is gone. Could it be stuck in the die body? Get a small light, and see. Other wise, ya need a bushing. If ya don't have the papers for the die set, you should contact...

RELOADING PROBLEM what can I do???

Ok. Nice pic. It looks to me like the bushing is in the wrong place and so is the nut. But I need some time to pull up the schematics of your die, to "know" what's what. I'll try to work in the time. Just for a thought: I've been reloading, for 30 + yrs? . A month ago, I made an " assumption"...

RELOADING PROBLEM what can I do???

Ok. I figured out how to blow up the pic. Give me a shot of the decapping assembly, from the side. It looks like you have two decapping dies. You might have a full length die, and a neck sizing die. If that assembly came out of the neck die, I'm not seeing the bushing.

Ok. I figured out how to blow up the pic. Give me a shot of the decapping assembly, from the side. It looks like you have two decapping dies. Both of my comp sets have only two dies.
