    Rifle Scopes Weaver 12X???

I bought an old 223,with a Weaver scope on it. Only markings are the Weaver logo, and on the forward hood. It has 12X, and numbers for range adjustment/ parallax. Any thoughts on age and value?

40 S&W? Tite group or Unique for 180gr. plated?

Thanks, guys. That will give me something to start with. I wanted to work with what I have. Finding Viht is impossible, here, though I like to use it. Some of you may relate to this: I bought the gun because I had so many range Pickens. About 2-3 thousand. Thanks again.

Flying after a reloading session and carrying a range bag past TSA

I just came back from a trip to Wyoming. I used my "range pack" as my carry on. No problems, and they even "swiped it", and my hands, with the patches, and no problems. No record of how many empties came home in that bag, but it wasn't enough to be a problem.

Rifle fell over, what to do next?

Beat me to it! I'll bid 20 more, cause I'm "such a nice guy". Got a NICE new fishing reel, a while ago. My son picked it up to look it over, and dropped it on the concrete floor, Seems to happen to "new stuff" all the time. At least it's got it's first scratch out of the way.

help! reloading .308 and have newbie bullet weight questions!

I,m just like Alaska, and the Rockchucker. I do use a progressive, sometimes, for pistol loading. I load for four Remmy 5Rs . Having powder choices is good, these days. 4895,Varget, 4064, Viht 135 all work well in the .308. I use them all. If you can,t find one kind, it's nice to have a back up...

    Reloading bench help

Lowes or Home Depot. Or online at the cabinet makers sites. Get the biggest/ sturdiest they have. Another cheap easy fix, is to level the table, then screw a short piece of 1X4to the outside of the4X4, so it rests on the floor, and replaces the shims, which always slip around. A 6-8in. Piece...

    Custom Do it all gun?

This old dinosaur I supposed to learn that, in the near future. Nothing that fantastic. Just some neat old guns. A Win lever action 55 take down, in 30-30. K98 War bring-back. A couple Remmy pumps in 30 rem. and 35 rem. 2 old German octagonal barrel target? guns. One is a 25 rimfire, I think...

    Custom Do it all gun?

Exactly what I was thinking. Most of the factory guns I have, run about 9-12 hundred each. A few nicer ones. Yeah, it's nice to have them. Some do better than others, but not great. The thought of a nice custom barrel and reload tools, for about that price point, is tempting. I'd like to...

    Custom Do it all gun?

THANK YOU BOB, for the input. A little of my history. I started shooting when I was 5-6, or old enough to hold a gun. When I was 30. I got married, built a house, and built a pistol range in the basement. Been reloading for 30, or so yrs. About 3 yrs ago I found this site, moved from strictly...
