    I have a wonderful un-issued one I can't get to get back to Merica and start shooting again. I have seen some interestingly customized ones, and would like to put a fiberglass stock on mine as well as a 1913 railed mount if anyone has any good idea photos.

    Well put! In one inch hunting scopes they are fairly over priced, but when you get the discount and start talking about M6/M8 lines it brings a whole new world view to their products. $2700 for an M8 versus $4300 for a Nightforce Beast, yep that's a no-brainer.

    I have taken foxes in Australia and Germany that weigh over 20 pounds. Much bigger than our North American varieties. I think a swift fox would have a heart attack if he ever saw one of these big dog reds they get in Europe, Asia and Australia.

    I concur, until recently they haven't been all that interested in long range. Which to me is kind of stupid. They are one of the biggest scope manufacterers in the world and acted like the military didn't exist. They have fixed this, but it took some time.

    I have used them 3 times, once on a M8 4x built in the 1980s and they rebuilt it to brand new. Once when I dropped one and broke a lens and told them I broke a lens and they didn't charge me. And once for broken crosshairs they fixed.

    I have other scopes, but it is very hard to knock the best customer service in the world. Doesn't matter when it was made or what you did to it, they will make it right or replace it.

    We have a great gunsmith in Canberra, not sure what your situation is. His name is Russ Lemaitre, and he's an F-Class and BAT/FLY shooter, avid hunter and a hell of a nice guy. 02-6161-8551 is his number I beleive.

    Keep the bushnell, Bushnell put R&D into that thing that no one else has ever done in a long time. It's tops for the money.

    Zeiss, Swarovski, Hendsolt, Burris, IOR, there are more options out there. I think they do this bullshit on purpose. And man I'll tell you I love Nightforce, they make great products here in Australia people lose their minds over the company. Then again it's an Australian-American company...
