    what .243 powder?

    I am needing some powder local store has some imr4064, and some other 1pound jugs. I plan on shooting 95gr sst, and 87grtsx. What powders are you hunters using with these bullets. This will be hunting rifle only.

    McMillian A1-3 vs. Manner T3

    I am still narrowing it down, and have came down to these two. I like both but cant force myself to pick which one. Who has experience with mcmillian a1-3? Choosing one over the other is really hard. Some help would be appreciated.

    I have SPS varmint with 1/12 twist. I am planning to cut barrel down but dont want to go to short. Has anyone on here cut down a SPS varmint barrel? If so, what were velocity losses? What is the shortest I could go without a bad loss? I shoot 168gr right now.

    Manner T3 w/mini chassis.

    I am about to purchase a manner T3 stock. Should I purchase mini chassis or just go with bedding? I dont have much info on the mini chassis just what I have seen. It would be BDL, I dont care much for magazines but that is just me.

    Gunsmithing Drilling out base screw on stainless barrel?

    I have a TC encore barrel. It is used and one of the base bolts are broke off in it. I have used carbide bit to try drilling it out but have broken two. I do not have drill press, using electric drill. Is there a better bit for stainless steel? Would not have thought carbide would have broken so...
