    Gunsmithing how to clean Stainless Steel

    Got a Thompson Center Encore. One of my barrles has some surface rust on it. When I wipe rust off it leaves a spot,or blemish. Is there anyway to clean this up to nice bright original look.

    I plan on reloading for my .260. It will mostly be used for hunting using Berger, sierra gameking, and maybe Hornady SST.

    I am wanting to reload some 168gr Berger VLD Hunting bullets. They say the minimum twists is 13. I have a sps varmint with a 12twists. Will these bullets not work good for me.

    Re: rem. 700 xmark trigger I could be wrong but from what I have read the poundage screw is the bottom front. The top screw is recessed. Like i said i could be wrong. I got the info from here, and other websites.

    My xmark trigger has alot of side to side play in it. Is there anyway to fix this(i know buy a timney)? Also when I loosen weight screw I can turn it all the way out, and it has no effect on poundage.It is the bottom front screw? I probably will replace but i wanted to see if I could fix it...

    I have a friend who started dipping rifles in diffrent tactical graphix about two years ago. He has had alot of business,but I have always been curious about doing it. I have always duracoated. Has anyone on here had their rifles dipped?If so, how do you like it?

    What scopeto put on a 7mm mag. It is a browning BAR safari. I would like to find a gloss 4-12x40. But would like some info on this if you all could help a member out. Thanks.
