    TBAC BIPOD

I had one of the prototypes and there are a lot of things that went in to it and it pretty much has all the things needed and no fluff so to speak . It is the typical quality engineering that you expect from TBAC with a ton of input from shooters from normal guys to professionals that do it...

    Suppressors Do I have a problem ?

Do not put peel washers between the face of the suppressor and barrel shoulder , it is not designed to function like that . Have the threads checked and make sure they are in spec . TBAC cuts their threads to the spec in the drawing and religiously checks them with thread gauges multiple times...

Suppressors Best method for suppressor mount for minimal POI shift.

Yes there should be a relief cut at the base of the threads at the shoulder junction . Having inconsistent threading out of end user gunsmiths is one of the reasons TBAC has gone to muzzle devices for attachment . There are drawings of proper 3A threads on TBAC's website for sure , not certain...

Suppressors Best method for suppressor mount for minimal POI shift.

This is one of Silencerco's cans where the mounting parts on the can are swappable ? Check all the mounting parts for being loose , also check the shoulder on the barrels for being square to the bore . It doesn't take much out of square to cause problems .

Suppressors Best method for suppressor mount for minimal POI shift.

As long as the shift is repeatable it's a non issue unless its something crazy like 5-10 moa shift . 1 MOA isn't anything to worry about . There will always be a shift of some amount because your adding weight / length to the barrel and changing the harmonics of the barrel .

120 decibels is above what is the industry standard that is considered hearing safe . https://www.nidcd.nih.gov/health/noise-induced-hearing-loss Anything above 85 decibels is considered not hearing safe .

    Suppressors 18 inch barrel

No , with all centerfire ammunition that is super sonic the sonic crack is above the hearing damage threshold. Plenty out there that make it tolerable but none are " hearing safe " especially on an AR was where there are 2 sources of sound , the muzzle and the BCG / ejection port .

The mountain men were there 40 years from what I've heard and to be fair led to some of their own demise . They were further up the road past where we shot . RM3G started out as the last SOF 3gun match in 01 and took 02 off and was back as RM3G in 03 which included 2 major 3 gun matches which...

Except from day 1 they have hunted there and was not an issue because we shut the match down from Sept to Feb for hunting season . They hunted that land the whole 14 years we were there . So now they are losing funding and the animals in the canyon will not be used to a human presence without...

That is exactly what the are hoping for . Don't know if you know Hoser but he is a crew chief on the ANG C130s that do the fire fighting and he sent an email off listing point by point why the fire danger excuse was bullshit and signed it with his military address and got no response other than...

No Kevin above spoke with Ken the program director . If they counted on us going quietly they underestimated the make up of the shooters at that match and the precision rifle crowd in general .
