Re: Reloading shopping list
One thing I never thought I would like until I used it is a hand pruning tool. I have one from RCBS that has a universal shell holder, but others make them. For me its easier to use than the one on the press.
Re: Seeking Suppressor Demo In Michigan
SSG3K I am looking into getting a suppressor and was wondering if you were anywhere near Howell. I sent you a PM with my contact info if you would be willing to let me check out what you got instead of hearing buy brand A or buy brand B.
Re: Looking for 26mm rings
Thanks for the replay but neither of those have mounts for a Ruger on .22 rimfire. Someone told me to contact NECG so I did and they are getting me EAW 26mm mounts for a Ruger.
A few years ago I purchased a Docter Optics straight 6x to mount on a hunting rifle. It is a 26mm scope. I always thought that was the European way of saying 1". Found out the hard way that that's not the case. I was wondering if anyone here might know of a company that builds 26mm rings. The...
Re: Midsouth Shooter Supply
I have used them a lot since finding out about them a few years ago. Prices seem to be a little lower than the other mid. I think they even covered hazmat fees on primers before. Has been a great company to deal with.
Re: How to put together an African DG Rifle
Sounds like a nice rifle. I have 2 M70 super expresses. 375 h&h and 458 win. The 375 has a ziess diavari 1.5-6 mounted on lupy QD rings. I think they tighten under recoil because they can be a pain to loosen sometimes.

Re: Suggest me a knife
I've carried and abused a Benchmade Griplitain for about the last 4 years. The blade is D2 steel and holds up well to hard use and comes in all black.
Re: 45 ACP or 357 Sig
Here's 2 cents from the new guy. I haven't had any experience with the 357 Sig but those who have seem to love it. I like the 45 acp just for the fact you can get ammo for it just about anywhere.
Re: Idea for cheap steel
I have been thinking of hanging some blind flanges from chain and seeing how they hold up. I see them at the scrap yard and can buy them for the scrap price. Maybe someone here has experience with this and can say if its a good idea.
Re: Rifles Only Precision Rifle (MICHIGAN)
Thanks for the info Graham. Unfortunately I can not make it. I do plan on making a trip to check the place out soon.
Re: Rifles Only Precision Rifle (MICHIGAN)
Anybody know if this a one time thing? Would love to go but just can't make it to this one.
Also, who all are members to the range its going to be at. I see they have a 500 yard rifle range and would like to check it out.
Re: Best Gun Shop Stories... Share them!
I was at a small gun store the other day talking to owner and the phone rang. He answered it, talked for a few and got a blank look on his face and hung up. He said someone asked if he sold gun powder. When he said yes they asked if he also sold cannon...
