    Carbon ring is real. It will reek havoc with accuracy and groups. Every once in a while that first few inches from the chamber forward needs a little extra love with a good cleaner. Both of my barrels, Bart,ein and Ace are very smooth and clean well easily.

    I had that same scope on my 22 Tactical 10/22's. It is a very nice scope and features for the money. While I've found the various strings of Lapua Midas +, X-Act and Eley Tenex to have very similar ES and SD numbers through various strings I did see a noticeable difference on group sizes...
