My AI and Accurate Mags are a little worse for the wear and not functioning 100% anymore. I've heard good things about the Ruger AI-Style mags. I'm looking for match quality mags which mean that they need to function smoothly and properly 100% of the time. What is the word out there about these...

Everything varies based on what you want. Give them a call during the week and you can get everything answered along with leadtimes very quickly. My order of a Apparition a few weeks ago was 8 weeks out.

    RPR 6mm Creedmoor load data.

    I had a good node at 41.6 and 41.8 of H4350 with speed at 3050 and 3053fps. I decided to load 41.7gr. Hornady brass, Fed 210M primers, 108gr ELD-M bullets. 7.7 : 1 barrel.

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

Back out again today for final prep before the match tomorrow. I loaded the rifle into the Kestrel, input the bullet from the bullet library and used the Litz custom curve data and then input the velocity. Range conditions were less that favorable but I needed DOPE. Temperature at 96*, winds...

Vudoo made a major design improvement in how they pickup and feed rounds into the chamber. I believe that one of the reasons that contributes to the accuracy of the Vudoo is that the cartridges aren't damaged when being loaded and when the bullet meets the lands it is properly aligned with the...

    Ruger Precision Rimfire

Many of us that shoot 10/22's in the NRL22 matches have found them to not only be ammo sensitive but also mag sensitive. Several of us have found the same thing with the RPR. The 15 round mag that came with my RPR was terrible for accuracy. I ran 6 or 7 10 round mags through my RPR and chose the...

    Ruger Precision Rimfire

I'm not talking about feeding or extraction in general but the accuracy changes based on how the bullet is fed into the chamber. I can use 2 separate mags that both feed and extract the same and go from near 1moa to a definite 2 Moa or more with all other factors being the same.

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

I got out today to start break-in and load development. Loading H4350 powder, Hornady brass, FGMM primers and Hornady 108ELD-M bulleys. 1st 5 rounds at the lower end of the tables at 38.0gr. and 2784fps. Next 5 were 39.0gr at 2879fps. From there I jumped up to 41.0gr and 3003fps. 41.6 and 41.8...

The 10/22 and it's beginning to seem like the RPR rimfire are magazine sensitive. The way the bullet feeds out of the mag and into the chamber may be changing the round. Whether that is bending the way the bullet seats into the case and therefore chamber or if it is deforming the nose of the...

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

To me charge weight is just a relative measurement. I believe in velocity nodes and follow velocity to maintain accuracy once it is determined in a particular barrel. I've never really gone after a particular velocity as a goal, I've always looked for accuracy at a usable velocity. My reason for...

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

I picked up the rifle today. Came home and gave it a thorough cleaning, changed out the trigger to a Timney, pulled the scope base cleaned/loctite and torqued, checked all of the other bolts for torque and put on the bipod rail and sling QD mounts. So the rifle will be 100% after the rings come...

From time to time a major advancement in either technology or innovation comes to market. It isn't a matter of whether or not we'll embrace the change, it is more a matter of when. This innovation currently affects a very small portion of the shooting market but like so many changes in the past...

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

What velocity are you getting with that load? I would expect the Hornady load data to be very conservative the same as it is for the 6.5CM. The current data doesn't even get up to what their original load was when they brought out the 6.5CM and printed the recipe on the box.I'll run everything...

That right there is what will justify and compensate for the cost of this rifle. I like it a lot.

6 Creedmoor RPR in One Spot

Well I've spent several days searching everywhere trying to gather information on setting up and developing an RPR in 6 Creedmoor. The ongoing RPR threads are 70% 6.5, 25% .308 and 5% of ...well I don't really know. So here it is in one spot. I've been shooting a 1st Gen 6.5CM RPR for the past...

Congrats on the new stick. SK Rifle Match has been the best performing ammo in my other rifles as well. When the new Vudoo gets here next month it will be my 1st rounds down range. I'm more interested though in seeing how it does with the inexpensive SS ammo like CCI SV or regular SK SS.

Yeah it comes out of the 308 parent case. The 6mm CM is just a necked down 6.5CM. Lighter bullets and higher velocity.

Thank you sir. I put a Seekins on my RPR 6.5 also. It was a Gen I and the Samson had to go. this time around I'm hoping to just add a Timney trigger and leave everything else as is.

I've been thinking about picking up a 2nd RPR, this one in 6mm CM. Can someone tell me how many screws the forearm in a 2nd Gen is attached with? I know about the change from KeyMod to M-Lok, that isn't any big deal to me.
