    "Enhanced"

The double standard is what bugs me. It is acceptable for women to have work done but there is a stigma attached to a male having work done. In my view we are what we are live with it.

Nice clean machine. I have been contemplating this exact setup, other than the scope.

    Atlas vs Harris bipods

I have both. My very honest answer is that at my level of skill the Atlas allows me to perform more consistently. It is not the Harris' fault, more the conditions that I usually shoot in. I shoot prone 90% of the time, bench 10% of the time. I shoot 95% of the time at ranges where concrete is...

Sidearms & Scatterguns No more 9mm for Army?

I like many others believe it will be a return to the .45 ACP. Which manufacturer will get the contract? For that question I can't even begin to guess.

    Can your gunsmith do this?

Nice voice. I'm hoping his gunsmithing skills are as good or better.

    Am I missing something...???

I also think it is more than an issue of weight. Current trends in tacticool chassis have very squared off designs. A lot of the ergonomics for these chassis are shooting related. Cheek risers, LOP adj, mounting points for rails, rails, equipment to go on those rails... I could go on and on...

Best hands down long range rifle in .308

The SPS is a solid choice. I own one. I have enjoyed it very much. It has good accuracy, durability and barrel life and availability of aftermarket parts and upgrades. I am pleased that you are realistic about the distances that you will be able to consistently perform at with this platform...

    DTI Finally Here

Very nice DTI. I like you choice of barrels. Looking at the picture above that is pretty much a perfect mount height, as low as you can get it but not so low that you can't put on scope accessories. Have fun.

Advanced Marksmanship Carbon and copper, what can it hurt?

Most modern powders (post 1965) do not damage your bore unless you live in harsh extremely humid areas. As a matter of fact most of them leave nitrogen which is good for your bore. Cleaning out the copper and carbon is the main cause of what most think of as cold bore shift of POI. It takes...

Range Report Best-Accuracy Bullet Weight For .308 1in10 20" Barrel?

This rifle should have no problem stabilizing the range that you posted, however I have found that on my rifle (the same model you listed) that I get much better results from 165 - 185. This is with factory ammo and reloads. We both know that rifles are individuals, so each can vary in their...

    Personal Progress

OK, here is my two cents worth of advice. Way too many shooters see buying/upgrading equipment as the way to improving. I disagree with that plan. Equipment can and does help but it is a crutch. I mean if you only work on improving by buying new and better crutches you will never improve the...

    Help needed with $$$ idea

That sounds pretty good to me. Then you could use B.A.T. wing shooting mats as a product name and give your mat a taper at the far edges of the elbow spread. And a stylized bat does make a good logo.

    Surprised myself today

I agree wholeheartedly with the go slow and figure out what you like first. I have deffinately been a victim of buying twice after rushing to buy something to fill a need and then learning more about filling that need because I ended up getting equipment that did not really fill the need I was...
