    The iron sounds really cool. My issue is i tried to run before crawling. Up until this build the only joinery i used was pocket holes. My 2nd issue was not building the parts, but assembling them all together. My plans just did not work out cause wood moves so much, even after letting it rest.

    With my first kid on the way i figured how hard could building a crib be? Holly F@#k was I ignorant. The most frustrating thing i have ever done. Black walnut, ambrosia maple, wedged through mortise and tenon, bridal joints. I need a stiff drink.

    Same story here. But i think im going to go back to 308 for a while. Im tired of not being able to find powder and bullets, but then again have not had to look in a while. I did have a spare bartlein turned at the time the rifle was built, so thats been in the safe waiting.

    I have been impressed and pleased with this batch if brass. But im not running these loads stupid hot either. 41.7gr H4350 pushing a 140 hybrid 2725 ish.

    This is the same 200 rnds of hornady brass that i purchased in anticipation of the build. It probably has 7-9 loadings. No case head separations yet, but that was one of concerns, that the brass may be getting thin.

    I work with this population of advanced heart failure patient that requires mechanical support. I have not seen something like this personally (yet), but my wife has at her facility. Pretty amazing thereapies out there... if you get them early.
