284 winchester. Long or Medium(defiance, Origin) length action

Long. Here are OALs to the lands in my X-Caliber prefit. Works great in my Tikka, more of a medium action.

accurate scale that measures to .01

My GemPro 250 measures to 0.02 gr and I got it for $80 shipped used, but I've seen them go for insane prices even used lately. I'd agree with above, get an FX-120i if that precision is a real requirement. You can get them for $500 from Cambridge.

Athlon Helos BTR G2 vs Arken SH4 G2

Old post I know, but hoping for a follow-up on this. Is the 4-20 Helos still doing well? Noticed any zero shift issues (cough LHT cough)? How is tracking if you've tested it? I'm looking for a decently lightweight FFP scope with locking turrets in the 3-18ish mag range for an elk trip, and...

    Action Length for ELR

I'm not familiar with the differences in those actions, but if you're just starting a 375 CT build, you saw this, right? https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/375-cheytac-build-parts-bat-action-proof-cf-barrel.7100544/#post-9862601

Caliber change options for Tikka T3x Long Actions

You're going to need to add a lot more detail (intended purpose, requirements re weight etc, budget) that's probably better suited to a different thread. Or just keep reading other threads. Yes, Tikkas aren't the best for the big LA magnums if you're handloading longer than SAAMI OALs, but you...

    Alpha 6BRA brass?

There's a thread on Accurate Shooter on it, some incredible groups at 1k using Alpha brass. If the price difference vs. Lapua ($120 vs $98 or so) isn't a concern that's what I'd go for. That said, Rocketman isn't wrong, fireforming is really simple too (unless you have an improperly headspaced...

Lone Peak Fuzion 6bra Manners TCS

It sounds like 4064 should work well for fireforming (assuming 105-ish gr), here is some data. I do a similar thing, fireforming with VV N140 but full power with H4895.

Storage of powder, primers, and general safety

I roughly followed these directions to make 1" nominal solid wood cabinets per NFPA, separate ones for powder and primers. There's just spring pressure and a little friction holding the doors closed, no latch. Dehumidifier running in the room during the summer.

    Trail Cam Recommendations

I've used Moultrie (works fine) and a Spypoint (junk that could never get to work, despite many CS calls). But the Tactacam Reveals (my FIL and I have three Reveal and one Reveal X) have been amazing. The biggest issue is finding any in stock.

Precision Rifle Gear Adaptive Tuner - Kinetic Security Solutions

I'll disagree somewhat here. 'Good reloading practices' is doing a lot of work in your statement and often what it would call for isn't practical. The key advantage of a tuner is being able to tune in pre-loaded ammo (factory or handloads) immediately. For instance, my range is an hour from my...
