    Tikka T3 Picture Thread.

    Yup, its the Lumley Ti bolt handle - but I didn't care for the carbon fiber knob which was a little large so I sent it off to Karl @ Kampfeld Customs and he put on one of his Campfire knobs - came out just right IMHO. And as always Karl did a great job.

    Since you said something pretty I guess I'm thinking a rifle with a wood stock?? If that's the case one to consider is a Kimber 84M Classic Select Grade .243. I've seen a few of those with same dang nice wood on them. Or if it was me I'd sure be looking for a nice Sako 85 Classic in .243...

    I had Karl Feldkamp paint it olive with black webbing, pretty sure he uses Cerakote to paint stocks. Turned out nice IMHO, stock is now a little less slick as well.

    Like everyone else has already said, Karl's work is 1st class and so is he. Always quick to do the work and his prices are more than reasonable. He has built one full custom for me and done a bunch of other work from bolt knobs to Cerakote to fluting barrels/bolts. Always perfect. Nice guy...

    The McMillan Mtn rifle stock would work - its a dup of the wood Remington Mtn rifle stock for reference. Or another option would be the Hunters Edge which IMHO is about perfect for a lightweight rifle with a skinny contour barrel.

    Gotta like the 7MM-08's though for a fine hunting rifle. Here is the twin to Sendero's rig, this is an exact clone except for the stock color and its a ADL versus BDL. This one weighs 7 lbs 4 ozs with the Leupold scope which is a bit lighter than Scotts NF.

    Not Scott but I've held that rifle before and seem to recall its right around 7.5lbs +/- an oz. Its a really nice rig!!
