    Re: Sig Tac Ops 1911 vs Kimber Tactical Custom HD I think I'd opt for the basic Springfield Operator #PX9105MLP but find out if you can get it in black instead of the green frame. While it isn't checkered in the front strap, I feel that, for the money, the Springfield is a dang nice piece.
