    what does 338 LM end up costing if you handload

    I'd like to know what I am getting into buying a 338 LM. Factory ammo is way too much and I want to tune my loads naturally. What do you guys calculate your cost per round is.... (ballpark)

    Re: what kind of reach does a 300 ultra mag have I had a feeling that might be the case.....just from looking at the cartridge. Looks like it holds a lot more powder. I was just looking at pictures on the web so wasn't sure. Thanks for the info. Looks like a kick ass round.

    was looking at RND guns. They have one in 300 ultra but I'm not familiar with that round. They are such high velocity it must be a real barrel burner. What kind of reach does that round have? Seems a 338LM is a better choice. http://www.rndrifles.com/home/
