    Does the action have a clip slot? Is the bolt face 30-06 diameter? The 30-30 receiver was not clip slotted. The 22 Hornet bolt face had “fingers” on the bottom of the bolt face.

    Yes, 16” and I have a Surefire brake to run suppressed. I typically turn the gas off and run as a manual action. It is nice to have that option.

    I have a Gen 1 with the forward assist. It is accurate enough for hunting.Killed a few deer and hogs with it. The early mags are prone to cracking.

    The pipe wrench will definitely get those AAC mounts off. It doesn’t take much to deform their wrench flats. Then send your can to ECCO and have it converted to Bravo threads.

    Petroleum based lubricants and solvents do nothing against black powder fouling. Different chemicals. Think gas vs diesel. The very best black powder solvent ever is Windex. No joke. Then follow with a non petroleum based lubricant like Bore Butter, Seal 1 , Frog Lube.
