    2012 "GAP GRIND" @ K&M ***RESULTS/PHOTOS/VIDEOS***

Re: 2012 "GAP GRIND" Jon....Shannon and I test all the stages with bolt guns. We try to run our matches and implement the safety requirements needed so that it's not an advantage or disadvantage based on bolt or gas gun shooters. Bryan

    GA Precision GAP-10

Re: GA Precision GAP-10 I've made the Gap trip a few times. The crew that George has put together are some great people. One thing I like is no matter how busy they get, they will NOT put out a substandard rifle. The Gap10 is my favorite gasser. I have owned and still own a few others but...

Range Report creedmoor is crazy accurate!!!

Re: creedmoor is crazy accurate!!! Great shooting! I wasn't questioning the group. I've shot a lot of steel and that just looked like some soft stuff for the damage shown in the pic. Give Big Dog steel a call. He's made most of the targets for K&M and so far even 7th SF Group hasn't...

Range Report creedmoor is crazy accurate!!!

Re: creedmoor is crazy accurate!!! What kind of steel are you using? That's some serious damage even for mild steel at 635yds unless the picture just makes it look much worse than it is.

K&M Competition Preparation Course (27 July)

Re: K&M Competition Preparation Course (27 July) I hope everyone that wants to shoot the match takes advantage of this. This is a great way to get trained up and put what you learned in the match the next day. We should have a few more obstacles ready for everyone to test out. Bryan

If I buy this shirt am I a poser?

Re: If I buy this shirt am I a poser? A kid walked up to a guy wearing a 10-gallon hat, leather vest, leather chaps, and sneakers. The kid asked him, "Mr. Cowboy, why do you wear that big hat?" The cowboy replied, "Well, son, the big hat protects me from hot sun and driving rain, and at...

Rifle Scopes Ultra high-powered scope review

Re: Ultra high-powered scope review I wish I was so smart that I didn't need advise from anyone. Since you "know" what you need to shoot ELR and are just asking for what quality scope would be best, I would recommend the S&B. Like everyone else said, I hope this is a dedicated ELR rig if you...

    Barrett MRAD or AI AX308

Re: Barrett MRAD or AI AX308 No need for an armorer/gunsmith. If you can turn a wrench then you're good to go. Just get the right tools. A 260, 243, 6.5cm, or 6cm will go out to 1k and further with no problems. If you are looking for more energy on target then that's another story but...

Undecided 243 Win or 6.5 Creed

Re: Undecided 243 Win or 6.5 Creed I shoot a 243 for my match gun and love it. I have shot a 6.5cm as a match gun and loved it. I have also shot a 260 as a match gun and loved it. I agree that the best choice for "factory" ammo is the 6.5cm. I get 2820FPS out of mine shooting the 140...

Re: check out the new PRS article Nice job on the article Rich. For those that don't know Shannon, I'm sure it wasn't easy to do an interview with him. He's as humble but as deserving as they come. Bryan Morgan

    Prize format

Re: Prize format The problem with the prize table is as our sport grows and we have the opportunity to shoot more and more matches, it becomes hard for the sponsors to support them all. I know that Shannon and I are looking at both. Some matches will have sponsored prize tables and others...

Undecided 243 Win or 6.5 Creed

Re: Undecided 243 Win or 6.5 Creed You won't go wrong with ether one. I agree that off the shelf Hornady 6.5cm is good ammo but you can get a lot of very good 243 from Copper Creek and McCourt. They also load some amazing 6.5cm with the 130 Berger VLD.

"Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build?

Re: "Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build? OP...Have you asked this question over at "ar15.com"? I'm sure you will get a better answer of what you need. I hear they are some real badass zombie killers over there. They will probably recommend something built by Larue but I haven't...

"Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build?

Re: "Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build? If the op meant "gorillas" that may explain the 20" target at 600 yards. Gorillas have some big heads.

"Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build?

Re: "Guerilla Sniper" rifle: how would you build? I have hunted zombies....Thermal is a "no go". They don't put off enough heat for them so you should look at a PVS27. If you say "I'll hunt them in the day" that will be your first mistake. They only come out at night. Also, one major flaw...
