    leica geovid 10*42

I've been running the HD-B's for about six months(8X42's). I really like them. The ballistic turret program it offers is awesome, and works perfect for shot angle, elevation changes, temp changes. I can't believe more people aren't running them. No more range cards, Kestrels etc...

    Derek Jeter

I was glad to share that moment with my three boys last night. Jeter always had the ability to rise to the occassion under pressure, and under the spotlight. A fitting end of a great career for a great baseball player. I don't root for the Yankees either, but a tip of the hat was in order last...

Hunting & Fishing The Stars Were.....LINED UP!!!

That license allows you to hunt for bulls in most US Forest Sevice lands throughout the state. Most of that is in Western Montana. To hunt bull elk in the eastern part of the state requires a...

GAP .308....this rifle has put a few on the ground for me... GAP .338LM. One of my favorite antelope rifles.. My old standby for most of my hunting career was this SAKO L579 .220 Swift. A couple from "back in the day". I still have it, and always will.

Hunting & Fishing Pelt care in back country

Getting a Dall Sheep cape ready for salt. Standing on our homemade raft with a wolf pelt that I prepped and dried in salt. We shot a moose, black bear, and this wolf on the other side of this glacier fed river and retrieved all three with this makeshift raft...Ah, the things you do when...

Hunting & Fishing Pelt care in back country

I've done it many, many times when I used to guide backpack Dall sheep hunts up north in July, and August. Capes will need to be fleshed, ears turned, and lips, eyes, and noses split to let the salt get in and draw out the moisture. Time consuming, but a must if you want to be sure everything...
