Hunting & Fishing Hunting results with 208 amax from 308w.
My brother in law's first bull elk, taken in October 2006, with my Surgeon .308 and one 208gr AMAX from 500 meters out. Bullet broke both front shoulders, and left a golfball sized exit hole. He dropped right there and never moved....- psinclair

Howl.....sit tight and be patient. Dominent coyotes will show up. Not out of hunger, or curiosity either. Doesn't hurt to have a decoy dog running around out in front of you either.. Thank me later.- psinclair

Yellow box 115gr Berger VLD's will expand less than any other Berger bullet in 6MM. I've shot H4350 in temps here in Montana from 40 below zero in January, to 110F this time of year with hardly any change in muzzle velocity. It's what I'll stay with until something better comes along....- psinclair
