Judge rules your dog IS family.

I was prepared to defend my dogs with deadly force before some random judge said it was OK.

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

The SCOTUS reigns in the district courts from imagining nation wide injunctions, it'll be WAY better than what was in that bill.

    Israel/iran

20 million people slipped across the border under Biden. About 20% were military age males. It’s knowable there are sleeper cells in the US waiting for the word to create chaos. And 1/2 of the US will think we deserve it because we’re big meanies. They will attack us in the US in the next...

    SOLD Leofoto SA-364C with MA-30 Head $395

This will ship in original box, with carrying case, tools, and unfilled warranty card. I have a very lightly used (1 trip to the range ) Leofoto SA-364C MA-30 tripod for sale. I bought this for PRS, but a crushed lower back means no running jumping and playing until I get it fixed, which will...

Canadian Ranger rifles in the Arctic need replacements, don’t work in the cold

Lee Enfield stocks were made out of pure wood, not engineered wood and most of the Enfield‘s have been oiled so many times the wood was impregnated with oil which is probably a little more resistant to moisture than engineered plywood that is shaped like a rifle stock

Canadian Ranger rifles in the Arctic need replacements, don’t work in the cold

I think the stocks are cracking per my narrative above. Wood in an extreme cold environment which is also an extremely low humidity environment, in and out of warm and moist environments, will crack every time.

Canadian Ranger rifles in the Arctic need replacements, don’t work in the cold

I doubt if it is a lubrication problem. Cold rifles brought into warm areas form condensation on all surfaces, and when they go back out the condensation freezes if they were not wiped down properly. Even a cold wood stock got wet, and I wonder if that's what happened to these rifles...

Pistol storage at air force base in Illinois?

A lot of it is up to the Installation Commander, who is usually the Wing Commander. Some are relatively libertarian, some are authoritarian.

Pistol storage at air force base in Illinois?

Ditto. Now closing in on 48 years on and off military installations, and I’ve never been asked if I had a gun. Was hit on a random search once. Didn’t find anything.

Call the base and ask. Usually not as complicated as people think.

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

True. However, since there was no National Guard before the Militia Act of 1903, that's not the militia referred to in the Second Amendment. There was no organized militia in 1791, so an interpretation that the Guard is the militia protected by the 2A runs afoul of Bruen, don't you think? I'm...

House Budget Proposal to remove Tax on Suppressors but not remove it from the NFA

The Guard is NOT the militia. Totally separate entities not the same. Ever. So, it follows that the Guard did not replace the state militias.
